TOGETHERNESS (2024)

This artwork features two trees within a park. It shows how I work with line, tone and texture, and it holds specific meaning to me of ideas around networking – such as the brilliance of nature’s networks, the artist’s efforts to bring together a composition, and the sturdiness needed to navigate life’s hurdles.

DRIFTWOOD (2022)

This artwork depicts an old tree found on the beach. It shows how I work with line, tone and texture, and it holds specific meaning to me of ideas around newness – with the tide bringing about new chapters and experiences, the artist learning through experimenting with forms, and the viewer observing new imagery. Thus, this is not just an old tree, but a pivot for untold mysteries.

UPCYCLE (2024)

I wanted to share this work because it brings together all the elements I am interested in. The character in the foreground is skateboarding, urban style, but he is also finding the fun in upcycling, recycling and sustainability. The background reflects this with a very graphic representation of the suburban landscape, which is itself fun and balances nature with human interaction.

BIRD SONG (2025)

This print shows the direction I want to move in with my larger works. The detail of the shrubbery is intense and rhythmic, engulfing the small bird who is perched on a tree branch, yet complementing his character which is to sing.
